I'm officially announcing that I'm going to be slowly working on a new website layout. I've also got an... interesting little add-on that's quite spiffy: a server population chart. It records the population count every thirty minutes on the server (through an NPC, so if the server is offline it won't show zero players for an extended period), and a php script reads that data and displays it as a simple line graph. This is nothing super amazing, I just thought it was pretty neat. Anyways, here's a temporary link to it: chart. This is just temporary. It'll be integrated into the new website design, but I'm still just in the planning stages, so nothing definite yet.

New Control Panel
I haven't posted here in a long time... but I felt like posting about this in case someone stumbles upon our blog.
For about a month or two, I'd been working on a new Flux CP off and on to replace the old, limited Ceres CP. The new CP has a lot more features, and is a lot easier for me to work on to add or change something as needed. There's also room for expansion in the built-in functions like a new donation system that will automatically credit and account when a donation is made. This will require some testing whenever I can get around to it, and it's not like I'm getting so many donations that I can't keep up, but the update will make things easier for me. The problem is the system built-in to the CP doesn't use the same tables and formats as what we already have.

New Mob and New Wiki
I've also been working on a new wiki for the server, one that's hosted on the website. This is mostly because I absolutely hate the skin wikia forces everyone to use. It's ugly, wastes half the screen, and crams a ton of extra crap on the pages, giving the actual information very little room. You can find the new wiki here, or, if you still like the crappy old one, you can still find it here. The old wiki will no longer be updated, but all the old information is still there.

Next Up: Ultima
After this enemy, I'll likely be adding in a Malboro King and Tonberry King, though they may end up with different names. I have two sets of palettes for both from the sprite sheets I used, but I doubt I'll be using the names they have: Big Malboro and Dingleberry. What kind of names are those? Out of all the possible names Square could have picked from their past games, THOSE are the names they went with?
Anyways, that's all I have to say at this time. There will likely be more custom mobs to follow after these, but I can't say for certain what they'll be. I'm gradually working up in difficulty, so probably not something too complicated.

New Mob Concepts
Now, down to the meat of it. I started this to make a Tonberry mob for the server, but also found decent sprites for a Malboro as well as a little somethin' else from FFTA: Ultima. If you've never played it, Ultima was a boss that consisted of several immobile crystals. Well, anyways, here's what I've got along side a player character and a basic-sized mob:
Obviously... they're a tad on the small size lol. Luckily, I can scale them up when I make the act files. Many more mobs to come if these turn out well.

Equipment Set Release
Anyways, one last update about the new equipment sets: I've come up with what I think is a fair price and will be adding the sets in the morning. For those that don't know yet, they're all on the wiki. Just look at all the "themed" armor and their headgear for the effects. Also remember that many of the headgears are just placeholders, and I've been given some ideas already for replacements.
