New Mob Concepts

I've mentioned this briefly the other night, but I've started working on some new mobs for the server. I'll be making these from scratch, and it's not so easy making an act file, so it may take some time. For one, an act file cannot be made from scratch, it has to be editing from an existing file. Anyways, that's not the point of this post. The point is to show off what I'm working on =D Also, a size comparison with official graphics.

Now, down to the meat of it. I started this to make a Tonberry mob for the server, but also found decent sprites for a Malboro as well as a little somethin' else from FFTA: Ultima. If you've never played it, Ultima was a boss that consisted of several immobile crystals. Well, anyways, here's what I've got along side a player character and a basic-sized mob:



Obviously... they're a tad on the small size lol. Luckily, I can scale them up when I make the act files. Many more mobs to come if these turn out well.

Equipment Set Release

So hey, found this blogger app thanks to Nyamo, so now I can update when I'm away from the computer. Why am I updating away from the computer? Well that's none of your business mister =_=

Anyways, one last update about the new equipment sets: I've come up with what I think is a fair price and will be adding the sets in the morning. For those that don't know yet, they're all on the wiki. Just look at all the "themed" armor and their headgear for the effects. Also remember that many of the headgears are just placeholders, and I've been given some ideas already for replacements.

Back in action :D

I know I haven't really been active with hosting events, and being on for the past few days. Now that all the stresses from school are finally off my back I shall be more active now. :)

Past Headgear Update

I finally added a bunch of the headgears belonging to the equipment sets that I've heard the players have been looking forward to getting. Some of the headgears are just placeholders and will be replaced with better looking sprites later on, but the sets should become available shortly.

New Gears

All the new items from last night's patch have been added to the wiki. Check the Armors and Weapons pages to see them. I think the most wanted right now is the new Novice equipment set. None of the new items are available yet, but hopefully I'll change that soon enough. Right now I'm working on card illustrations for the new set of cards added a week ago. I've got about half of them done already.

Blog Going Public

Not really sure what to say for my first post, but I gotta say something, huh? Well, me and Nyamo have been working on the blog since the other day when it was suggested on the Facebook group, and now it's about time we made it public. The staff will be making their own posts here at some point, and we'll try to keep this thing updated.

This isn't going to replace the forums, website, or anything like that, but it is a much simpler way to keep things up-to-date as I don't have to edit and upload the html files for the website every time I want to add/change something.
